A fuse or circuit breaker protects the wiring from overload. A safety switch (RCD) protects you — it trips on tiny current leaks that can stop a heart. You want both.
How often should I test my safety switches?+
Press the test button every three months. If it doesn't trip, give us a call — it's not doing its job.
